ESMC is a joint venture between TSMC, Bosch, Infineon and NXP to establish an advanced semiconductor fab in Dresden, Saxony, Germany. This development marks a significant step toward supporting the future capacity needs within the fast-growing automotive, industrial, IoT, and telecommunications market sectors in Europe.

The fab will be designed for a capacity of 480,000 wafers per year and will create around 2,000 direct high-tech professional jobs when fully operational. Total investments are expected to exceed 10 billion euros, with strong support from the European Union and the German government.

You enjoy working with complex semiconductor equipment. This role will involve improving and enhancing the efficiency of Handle Diffusion, Thin Film, Lithography or Etching equipment. You will also be required to trouble shoot and resolve equipment issues.
You’re an expert in flash memory and logic products. We’re looking for highly motivated individuals with strong technical background and capabilities to help us develop and sustain flash memory and logic process technologies. You will also be responsible for driving leading-edge integrated module development, control, and improvements.
You will work on diffusion, thin film, lithography or etching equipment in a cleanroom environment. You will also oversee capacity management by installing and qualifying new tool sets and improving tool uptime availability and utilization efficiency.
You will drive leading-edge process/device development and optimization for Flash/CMOS/RF devices to meet scaling, performance, reliability, and manufacturability requirements.
You’re a results-driven individual who is always looking to maximize semiconductor production lines. We’re looking for a Yield Engineer who can help us with defect reduction, yield improvement, and inspection methodology excellence.

Hiring Manager and Hiring Team Interview
  • You may be invited to one or more interviews with your potential manager and teammates depending on the role.
  • There may be assessments you will need to complete before the interview.
  • These interviews typically lasts 30-60 minutes and may be conducted in a one-on-one, small group or panel interview setting.
  • Following the interview, you can expect to receive a follow-up email or call from the recruiter to let you know how your interview went and discuss potential next steps.

Decision Phase and Offer
  • After your interviews, a final decision will be made by the hiring team and recruiter.
