Coverage

Fast and adequate response by the police can be crucial in certain situations. In practice however, the police is often reluctant to intervene, especially if the situation in question is not immediately life-threatening. Most of the time a suspect situation reported by the truck driver himself, or for example a cut in the curtains during parking, is not sufficient to have the police come into action.

In order to offer the desired and required level of protection, ESMC has direct contacts with a large number of private security organizations all across Europe and Russia/CIS, who can be on the spot quickly.

If these local AGS-FreightWatch security officers indeed confirm a suspect situation or an actual incident, they contact the police, who then usually proceed to the location immediately. The police are encouraged to intervene since the AGS-FreightWatch security officers have checked the report and could provide facts to the police that could contribute to the arrest of suspects.
